ThunderHeart Ministries is a 501(c)3 non-profit ministry devoted to helping men understand what it means to be a “real man” in God’s eyes. The ministry works with men from all walks of life including men who are currently incarcerated.  The name “ThunderHeart” joins two very important words. The word “Thunder” draws from the scriptural reference of God’s voice. Psalm 68:33b refers to God as the one “who thunders with mighty voice.” ThunderHeart Ministries strives to teach men to share the gospel with the authority of God’s thunderous voice. The second word, “Heart” is the word used over and over in scripture to describe where God resides in our relationship with Him. Romans 10:8-10 tells us “But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” So the combination of these two words is an effort to demonstrate to men that we are to share the one who resides in our heart with confidence and authority. We must be bold in not only what we say but how we live our lives.
